MS Dhoni will lead Jharkhand in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. He played for Jharkhand last year as well, under the captaincy of pacer Varun Aaron. Jharkhand will play their first match on February 25 against Karnataka.
Jharkhand are pooled alongwith Chhattisgarh, Hyderabad, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Saurashtra and Services. They will play their opening match against Karnataka in Kolkata.

Dhoni recently mentored Jharkhand in the domestic competitions. He guided the team during the Buchi Babu tournament. Dhoni was also present in Jharkhand’s Ranji Trophy semifinal match.
The 18-member Jharkhand squad features Ishant Kishan, Virat Singh, Aaron, Shahbaz Nadeem and Saurabh Tiwary. Jharkhand will look to go the distance under the leadership of Dhoni in domestic cricket.
