Indian Cricket Team to Host New Zealand for Tests and ODIs

The Indian Cricket Team is set to host New Zealand for a two-month long tour, featuring Tests and one-dayers. New Zealand will be playing three Test matches, and five one-day internationals.

This is the first time in four years that New Zealand team is coming to India. Last time the Black Caps were bamboozled in the two-match Test series, but won the one-off T20 international.

The opening Test of the series will take place in Kanpur’s Green Park on September 22. Indore will host the second Test from September 30, while the final match will take place at the Eden Gardens on October 8.

India are set to play 13 Test matches, which in itself is a record, this season at home. Apart from New Zealand, England, Australia and Bangladesh are also coming to India this season.

Meanwhile, the ODI series will start from October 16 in Dharamsala. Delhi (October 19, Mohali (October 23), Ranchi (October 26) and Visakhapatnam (October 29) will host the remaining matches.

The Indian Cricket Team is currently preparing for the Test series against West Indies. India are set to face the Windies team in a four-match Test series. The Indian team will place a couple of practice matches before starting the tour.
