The Central Broward Regional Park is not a stadium like M Chinnaswamy or Wankhede. Still, it has managed to impress the Indian coach Anil Kumble, who has given it a thumbs up ahead of the T20 series.
Florida’s Central Broward Regional Park is the only ICC certified ODI standard stadium in the United States. The stadium recently hosted six Caribbean Premier League matches.

“I certainly didn’t expect the facilities to be as good as what it is in the United States,” Kumble said. “I certainly felt that it could be a makeshift.”
“Heard about Florida and this ground, but very impressed with the facilities that we have seen today.”

“It’s the first time that I’m seeing this ground and the wickets are good, ideal probably for a T20. The practice facilities have been good,” he added. “The outfield looks fantastic. So all in all, really impressed with the facilities here.”
India and West Indies will play a two-match T20 series this weekend. Both teams have already arrived at the United States, and will lock horns tomorrow in the opening encounter.
