Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is making full use of his break from cricket and going football crazy at the moment. Dhoni, who is an avid football fan, on Twitter informed that he is to attend Chennaiyin FC home-game on October 28.
Dhoni is a co-owner of the Chennai-based franchisee, which is currently third in the Indian Super League behind Athletico de Kolkata and Northeast United FC, with two wins and a lose.
Other co-owners Abhishek Bachchan and Vita Dani are seen regularly supporting the team from the stands but Dhoni, because of his Team India commitments, couldn’t attend the first three ties of his Chennai team.
Dhoni Tweeted: “Will be there to watch second home game of Chennaiyin FC. Finally will be in front of Chennai fans. Vanga vandhu parunga.”

The Chennaiyin FC was hammered in the last tie by the Delhi Dynamos FC in an away clash, but presence of the Indian captain will certainly boost their confidence.
Dhoni is a Manchester United fan and also took the opportunity to witness the home-game of the Red Devils against Chelsea. Man United held the Blues 1-1 in a thrilling tie, with Dutch striker Robin van Persie scoring the equaliser in the 94th minute.
Dhoni Tweeted: “Saw ManUtd play after long, fantastic game last min equaliser.saw three football matches in one day, time to hit the bed.early start 2morrow.”
