The CLT20 has confirmed that the Event Technical Committee of the Oppo CLT20 has approved Shivam Sharma as a replacement player for Mitchell Johnson in the Kings XI Punjab squad for the tournament.
Mitchell Johnson was replaced due to a rib injury he sustained during Australia’s tri-series tournament in Zimbabwe, after which recent medical tests were done and reports were received.
The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad.
