There is nothing better than starting the tour with a win, and Team India would be aiming just that when they will lock horns with Western Australia in the first practice match at the WACA today.

Western Australia vs India Live Streaming Information

The first Western Australia vs India practice match will be played at the WACA, Perth. The game is scheduled for a 15:30 IST (18:00 local | 10:00 GMT ) start.

The live streaming of the practice match is available at the Cricket Australia’s website HEREHERE. The live score updates of the match are available HERE & HERE.

It could be just a practice match, but MS Dhoni-led Team India would be aiming nothing short of a win, especially seeing the first ODI against Australia will be played on the very same ground.

Getting the right combination heading into the series will be India’s major concern, but more than that skipper Dhoni has already made it clear that he is looking at the bigger picture.

The India captain would be doing plenty of experiments with the playing XI to get the right balance ahead of the World T20, which is now just three months away.

This, however, is easier said than done, as Dhoni has a young squad at his disposal. India are a talented lot, but at the same time lack of experience would certainly hurt them, especially Down Under.

“These guys have done well in domestic circuit and have been consistent for the last few years. They are getting a chance to see how international cricket is slightly different to first-class cricket.”

“Yes, there have been quite a few inclusions in the side and it seems quite a few will get a chance to play in Australia, in the five ODIs and three T20Is,” Dhoni said.

“A lot of them will get a chance to play international cricket and I feel it will help them and at the same time we will get some fresh faces around and we will get to see how good they are.”

“When it comes to talent aspect, they are very good in the domestic circuit and now they have to take that leap forward into the international arena,” Dhoni concluded.

Squads: India: Ravichandran Ashwin, Rishi Dhawan, Shikhar Dhawan, MS Dhoni, Gurkeerat Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Barinder Sran and Umesh Yadav.

Western Australia: Birt, Bosisto, Carder, Duffield, Hobson, Inglis, Kelly, Moody, Morgan, Muirhead, Nicholas, O’Connor and Short.
