This news would certainly end Royal Challengers Bangalore’s batting vows. Their captain Virat Kohli has regained match fitness, and is available for the next IPL game, according to the Indian Cricket Team.
Kohli has underwent rehabilitation in the right shoulder. He sustained the injury during India’s 3rd Test against Australia, and subsequently missed the 4th Test, and also the initial three games for the Royal Challengers.
The Royal Challengers haven’t had a great start of the season with their captain. They have already lost two matches out of three. In the last game, Kings XI Punjab handed them a thumping defeat in Indore.
Shane Watson led the Royal Challengers in Kohli’s absence, but he has failed to inspire the team so far. He, himself, hasn’t been able to contribute with both bat and ball, and the team has missed Kohli.
Kohli’s return will strengthen RCB in their upcoming game against Mumbai Indians in Bengaluru. It would give a much-needed imputes to their under-firing batting line-up in their next match.
The RCB captain recently had an intense training session with the team. He hit the ground running with full-intensity fielding drills, and extended net session. He didn’t show any sort of discomfort.
