India captain Virat Kohli has hinted that the team could experiment with the squad in the 3rd ODI. Young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant might get his ODI debut in Antigua on June 30, Friday.
Pant and Kuldeep Yadav had replaced Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah in the squad. Pant, in particular, has caught everyone’s attention with impressive outings in the domestic circuit.

“We’ll sit down and decide as a team about changes that can be made (when asked about Pant),” Kohli said. “We’ll go to Antigua and regroup, and that’s a possibility as well, give a few guys an opportunity.”
Pant could replace southpaw Yuvraj Singh in the playing XI. Yuvraj’s form is under scrutiny. In the last one-dayer against the West Indies he could only contribute 14, hitting just one boundary during his 10-balls stay in the middle.

The Indian team management, however, will not make any changes in the top-order. The bowlers, including Kuldeep, also had a superb outing in the last game. So, that department is also sorted for the Blue Brigade.
“The partnership between Ajinkya and Shikhar was outstanding, and myself at the back end, with Yuvraj, Dhoni and Kedar chipping in. Early wickets for Bhuvneshwar, and really happy for Kuldeep as well,” Kohli said.
