The selectors rested Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah rested for the West Indies tour. Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav replaced them in the 15-member squad to the Caribbean Islands.
The young wicketkeeper-batsman Pant was seen taking tips from MS Dhoni. Pant got rewarded for his outstanding performance in the domestic competitions. He is known for his hard hitting capability.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep made his Test debut recently against Australia. Kuldeep’s performance on debut helped the Indian team to win the test series against Australia in the Dharamsala Test.
