India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been India’s wrecker-in-chief against South Africa, has reached to his career best spot in the recently released ICC rankings for Test bowlers.
Ravindra Jadeja has climbed eight places in the ICC bowlers rankings to reach on 13th spot behind Pakistan off-spinner Saeed Ajmal, but ahead of Australian pacer Mitchell Starc.
India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who has been equally effective with the ball against South Africa, is the highest-ranked Indian bowler at fifth position in the bowlers rankings.
Interestingly, Ashwin is the only Indian in the top-10 rankings, while Ravindra Jadeja is the second highest ranked bowler for India in the ICC Rankings.
Ravindra Jadeja has taken 12 wickets in two Test matches in the series so far, including a fifer in Mohali Test’s second innings to help India take the series lead.
