Team India visits Manchester United Football Club at Old Trafford
Indian skipper MS Dhoni is a passionate Manchester United fan was once again prominent when he along with his fellow team-mates decided to visit the home of one of the oldest and popular football clubs at Old Trafford.
Ahead of their fourth Test against England at Manchester, Indian cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni accompanied cricketers Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Gautam Gambhir, Pankaj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, Ishwar Pandey and Team India’s support staff, to take a guided tour of the Manchester United Football Club Stadium- also popularly known as Theatre of Dreams. The Man U officials gave the Indian cricketers a thorough tour to all their club facilities, beginning from the team’s changing rooms to the club’s practice arena, also famously known as the AON Training Complex. The team then later moved to the main pitch and the players dug out, which left them completely awe-struck with its beauty and legacy.
During the visit, Indian captain MS Dhoni revealed his love for football once again when he tried his hands on goal-keeping at one of the stadium’s practice pitch. Also, he was happy to click himself with the Manchester United logo, embedded at one of the stadium’s wall.
The Men in Blue then unveiled a special “England Vs India” Manchester United Jersey, specially presented to them by the club officials.
