MS Dhoni has a special corner in his heart for army, and he recently played a charity match in the United Kingdom under the ‘Help for Heroes’ initiative for helping the wounded Indian soldiers.
Working on similar grounds, MS Dhoni now is hosting a charitable golf event in the United States to help injured soldiers of both the Indian and the US Army.
The charitable golf event, which will take place at the Phoenician Golf Club from December 5, is organised by Rhiti Sports Management (P) Ltd and IntraEdge.
“Besides a great weekend of golf and camaraderie, it is the cause that we’re supporting which is even greater,” India limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni about the event.
“I have enormous respect for service men and women across the world and I do hope that this event will help raise and donate substantial funds as an expression of our gratitude towards the two nation armies,” he added.
The charitable golf event will witness the participation of top executives from Fortune 500 companies, sports professionals, celebrities and multinational corporations.
