Manoj Tiwary to lead India ‘A’ in practice games against West Indies

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named Bengal cricketer Manoj Tiwary as the skipper of India A team for the practice games against West Indies.

West Indies will be playing two warm-up games with the A side, first on October 3 in Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium and second on October 5 at the Wankhede Stadium.

Karn Sharma, who made his debut in India’s colours in a one-off T20 against England, is also named in a 14-member squad, along with Parvez Rasool and Amit Mishra.

The selectors have also included young wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson, all-rounder Stuart Binny and Murali Vijay in the squad.

Dhawal Kulkarni, right-arm pacer Jasprit Bumrah and Gurkeerat Singh Maan have also managed to make a cut for the two matches against the Caribbean team.
