England fought and fought hard with Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow. But, that was it for the visitors. Once they departed got out, England fell like a pack of cards, and conceded a 200-run lead in the 2nd Test in Vizag.
The visitors got bundled for 255 in their first innings, despite a 110-run stand between Bairstow (53) and Stokes (70).

Ravichandran Ashwin was the wrecker-in-chief, again. He finished with a fifer, and also completed 50 Test wickets in the calendar year. Meanwhile, rest of the Indian bowlers chipped-in with a wicket each.
Earlier, the Indian team posted a healthy total of 455 runs in the first innings. Captain Virat Kohli (167) and Cheteshwar Pujara (119) scored centuries, while Ashwin (58) finished with a fifty. Kohli and Pujara were also involved in a record 226-run stand for the third wicket.
