Perform or perish – is what the Indian cricketers told themselves before taking on Pakistan in the big match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday evening.
“With two more wins needed to enter the last four stage of the tournament, Indian team is treating the last two matches of the World T20 as knock-out ones before the actual knock-out begins.”
“This is also what the situation demands. India need to win all their matches in the league stages to register a place in the semifinals. There are no two ways about it,” a team source told Drcricket7 on Monday.
The Indian Cricket Team is also focusing on keeping the momentum going after a big match win over the arch-rivals. The hosts are also taking one-match at a time.
“Which means, India team isn’t thinking too much about the Australian game right now. The main focus of the side is to do well against Bangladesh first before taking on the Aussies,” the source added.
