The Indian bowlers delivered yet another impressive performance in the Champions Trophy. They restricted Bangladesh to 264 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in the second semifinal today.
At one time Bangladesh looked all set for 300. But Kedar Jadhav’s two wickets and impressive death bowling put brakes on Bangladesh’s scoring rate. Still, The Tigers managed to post a competitive total on the board.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was once again brilliant with the ball. He picked a couple of wickets with the new ball to give India a perfect start after winning the toss. He then maintained tight line and length with the old ball.
Jasprit Bumrah complemented Bhuvneshwar pretty well and finished with two wickets in the death. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja knotted the innings in the middle over. He finished with one wicket at the end.
Bangladesh, however, got a solid partnership from Tamim Iqbal (70) and Mushfiqur Rahim (61). But, once they got out, Bangladesh struggled to stitch even a single partnership, until Mashrafe Mortaza came to the crease.
Mortaza (30 not out) added some crucial runs down the other. His batting was anything, but eye-pleasing, still he took Bangladesh to a competitive total, alongwith Taskin Ahmed (10 not out).
