The Indian spinners did a fine job to clean up Australia in the morning session. But they still managed to take a 87-run lead in the 2nd Test over India. The Indian bundled the visitors to 276 in the first innings.
Ravindra Jadeja finished with an impressive six-for, while Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets. Jadeja was instrumental in cleaning the Aussie tail. As Australia lost their last four wickets to eight runs.

In reply, India got a solid start from openers Abhinav Mukund and KL Rahul. They survived Australia’s new-ball attack and added 38 runs for the first wicket. At lunch, India were trailing by just 49 runs.
