Nothing succeeds like success. If you ask any player from the Chennai Super Kings, they will tell you this. Despite being the table-toppers in IPL’s points table, this team under MS Dhoni simply doesn’t stop thinking about doing well in every match.

Side-by-side, they know that success will elude them once in a while, but their focus on bigger goals is never distracted. Out of 11 games, CSK may have lost four of them, but they have seven victories under their belt and by the virtue of those win, they are the undisputed leaders.

But after losing their first match on home soil against the Mumbai Indians non Friday night, CSK are raring to go when they take on the Rajasthan Royals at the Chepauk. This match is important for CSK because they have some scores to settle after the Royals upstaged them earlier in the league.

In that match, CSK had made 156 at the loss of four wickets and the Royals had rounded up the match with 10 balls to spare. Both the Rajasthan Royals openers – Ajinkya Rahane and Shane Watson – emerged as the top performers.

After that loss, CSK were hurt and came back strongly into the tournament. They didn’t relax for a moment and kept working hard to achieve their targets. Their commitment is so intense that they have mostly remained as the top team in the points table.

Now that the IPL is reached the business end, CSK are keen to up the ante. They don’t want to leave anything unfinished. Dhoni’s men want to go out there and enjoy every moment of it, which is a warning sign for their opponent.

This will be Royals’ 13th game and will be looking to stay as one of the top teams in the competition and so a win here against CSK can make them the table-toppers. Can CSK stop the Royals? If experts are to be believed, CSK will be on top gear for sure to strengthen their chances to finish the league stages on a high.
