India have won all top prizes across formats under the leadership of MS Dhoni, and scaled new heights after he took over the captaincy of the Indian cricket team.
Dhoni led Team India to World Cup glory in both T20 and ODI formats, while also took the team to number one spot in the ICC ODI and Test rankings, which hadn’t happened before.
Former India wicketkeeper Syed Kirmani has lauded Dhoni’s contribution to the game, saying that he has proved himself as the best captain of the Indian team.
“When Mahendra Singh Dhoni was named captain, my first reaction was that it was the best thing to have happened to Indian cricket,” Syed Kirmani said. “He proved to be the best captain that I have come across.”
