The Indian Cricket Team has made a couple of brilliant outings in England so far. They have defeated New Zealand in the first practice match, and then handed a thumping defeat to Bangladesh in the second game.
Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman has insisted that the Indian team is a force to reckon with in the tournament. He believes that going by the form the defending champions have a great chance of retaining the trophy.

“India will always be a force to contend with in such tournaments,” Laxman said. “Their form in the two warm-up games has been impressive, and has left Virat and Anil with a happy headache.”
“India are also fortunate to be coming into the tournament after a month and a half of IPL,” he added.
