MS Dhoni is playing cricket for more than a decade now. With this kind of experience, one need not to go through every minute detail. That is because of the vast experience and the knowledge a player poses at this age.

The Indian limited-over captain, however, is a bit different. According to Dhoni’s friend Arun Pandey, the Captain Cool likes to remain in match mode even when he is not doing national duty.

“Dhoni has been involved with the Jharkhand team in three Ranji Trophy games,” Pandey said. “He sat through the matches as if he was playing those games. Even when he isn’t travelling with the Jharkhand team.”

“He doesn’t miss a single training session. It doesn’t matter if he is at home or away from home,” he added. “Dhoni doesn’t like losing momentum and always in match mode in the nets.”

Dhoni is currently spending time away from the field with his family. He will join the Indian team for the limited-overs series against England in January. India are set to play three ODI and as many T20 against the Three Lions.
