If there is any team that is underrated in this year’s Indian Premier League, then it has to be the Hyderabad Sunrisers. Featuring some fierce hitters, Hyderabad has everything to stun everyone, but for than they need to play as a unit, which missed last season.
Kevin Pietersen will not play the league stage still Hyderabad has enough fire-power to trouble the best of teams in the tournament. Kane Williamson, David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan would be Sunrisers’ main weapon when it comes down to scoring at top.
Ravi Bopara, Eoin Morgan and Hanuma Vihari will have to do lift-the-runrate job for Hyderabad. There aren’t any power-hitters in the middle for Hyderabad, which would be their main concern.
As far as the bowling is concerned, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Dale Steyn and Trent Boult provide skipper Warner fine options with the new ball. Karn Sharma, meanwhile, would be the frontline spinner, with Bopara will be used as a all-rounder.
