The India cricket team has managed to retain second spot in the ICC ODI Rankings, despite losing the three-match series 2-1, while Bangladesh is seventh in the charts with 93 points.
Owing to the series loss, India did drop a few points, but are three points clear of third placed New Zealand. Australia, meanwhile, is at the top with 129 rating points.
Bangladesh are certain to qualify for the Champions Trophy 2017 as West Indies, who are placed eight, are not playing any ODIs till the qualifying cut-off date, 30 September 2015.
Top-eight teams will qualify for the Champions Trophy 2017. Pakistan, who are placed ninth and are out of qualifying spot, but they have a five-match series scheduled against Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka and England are fifth and sixth respectively, while Ireland round-up the top-10 standings. Zimbabwe and Afghanistan are 11th and 12th respectively.
