Indian captain, again, guessed the coin right, and asked Zimbabwe to bat first, after winning the toss, in a bowling-friendly conditions of the Harare Sports Club in the second ODI.

India opted not to make any changes in the playing XI from the last match, while Zimbabwe made one change – Craig Ervine made the way for Sean Williams.

A new pitch was named for this contest, with fair amount of grass, and as the conditions predicted to remain chilly throughout the day, it still was a win-the-toss-bowl-first wicket.

“Pacers will get help right through the day. It’s quite cold too, so yes,” MS Dhoni said, with a big smile. “It’s a tough wicket, it won’t be easy to freely rotate strike here.”

India are currently leading the three-match match series, after hammering Zimbabwe in the opening encounter at the same venue. A win here will seal the series for Dhoni’s team with a game to spare.

India Playing XI: Karun Nair, KL Rahul, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Barinder Sran and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Zimbabwe Playing XI: Moor, Chibhabha, Masakadza, Williams, Sibanda, Raza, Chigumbura, Mutumbami, Cremer, Chatara and Muzarabani.
