With less than 100 days left for the ICC World Cup 2015, the Cricket Australia (CA) has unveiled the jersey of the national team for the forthcoming competition, starting February 14 Down Under.

The Australians have reverted back to all-gold, which they wore in their three successive World Cup triumphs in 1999, 2003 and 2007. Australia’s World Cup 2015 Jersey is designed by ASICS and features five stars of the Southern Cross.

“The World Cup is the pinnacle of the one-day game, so to unveil our uniform today ahead of such a big tournament is special moment,” Australia skipper Michael Clarke said.

“I think it looks great. We’re back in Australian gold, which we hope will bring us luck like past World Cup winning teams,” he added. “It will be a big build-up to the tournament and no doubt there will be with plenty of players around the country trying their hardest to earn one of these uniforms.”

The Australia team is seen in dark green jersey since the 2006-07 season in the one-day international matches.
