West Indies were humiliated in their opening match, when Ireland scripted yet another fairy tale in the marquee event. Windies, however, would look to put their campaign back on track to score point in the tournament.

“We can’t let our defeats get us down,” Holder said. “Obviously we lost a game against Ireland. It was a tough loss, but if we get ourselves down, it’s hard to pick ourselves up so we are trying to keep the mood going.”

“What is clear for us is if we execute our plans and we carry out what we want to do we know we can be very successful so it’s just about consistency,” he added.

Pakistan, on the other hand, would look to avoid back-to-back defeats and put their and avoid bottom finish. “If we want to do well in this World Cup this is an important game and both teams need to win,” Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq said.
