Before the World Cup began, Krish Srikkanth, the former captain of the Indian team and also a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team, had predicted India doing well in the tournament.

So far, his words have indeed come true. India team has done exceedingly well after a dismal Australian series. As the team gets ready to take on Bangladesh in the quarterfinals, Srikkanth is now even one-step ahead.

He is ready to talk about the possible opponent for India in the semi-finals. And if this is the confidence level of an outsider, just image the confidence level of MS Dhoni and his men.

“It’s true that the confidence level of the team is extremely good,” a BCCI source in the team told Drcricket7. “We have to a little patient and don’t get complacent. India are certainly a confident lot. They are capable of beating any team in the world.”

“The players also know that the Bangladesh match would be easy one. This is knockout match and so the level of intensity with the different from the matches in the group stages,” the source added.
