Sourav Ganguly Backs Captain MS Dhoni, Says “Don’t Blame The Skipper”

The Indian team is going through a rough patch, there is nothing going in their favour, and least to say their confidence must be shattered after four successive loses against Australia.

Inexperience is costing India dearly, while the experienced players aren’t finishing the game. Scoring centuries makes no sense if they aren’t helping the team.

Like in Canberra, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli scored centuries, but their effort went in vain, as none of them managed to take India over the line.

Despite it being team’s failure as a whole, India captain MS Dhoni was again at the firing line, but he took it on the chin and shouldered the full responsibility of the loss.

A couple of days ago, Sourav Ganguly had backed Dhoni, saying that he is doing a dirty job, and he should be blamed for successive defeats in the series.

“Another series loss,” Ganguly wrote on his Instagram post. “Another chance to blame the skipper! What more can you ask from him?”

“This guy wants to bat up the order but he can’t because there is not enough experience when it comes to the lower order.”
