Rain might play a spoilsport in the Asia Cup T20 opener between India and Bangladesh, as there are chances of rain/thunder showers in Dhaka today, according to the weather department.
Dhaka woke up with light showers and thunderstorms, and there are chances of further rain at around 7:00 pm local time that may delay the start of the match.
The Shere Bangla National Stadium was covered since morning owing to overcast conditions, but at 3:15 pm local time the groundsmen started to take the covers off.

India, meanwhile, are sweating over the fitness of captain MS Dhoni, who is nursing a back spasm, which he sustained during Monday’s practice session.
Dhoni hasn’t taken part in the team’s training sessions since then, but he hasn’t been ruled out of today’s tournament opener against the hosts.
