The first of its kind tournament, Masters Champions League (MCL) that will see the legends of the game, has confirmed the participation of former India skipper Sourav Ganguly.
Sourav Ganguly will be part of the Libra Legends in the Masters Champions League, which will feature players like Wasim Akram, Adam Gilchrist and Virender Sehwag, to name a few.
The co-owner of the Libra Legends, Pooja Jhunjhunwala confirmed that Sourav Ganguly will be part of her franchisee, while also saying that the MCL will entertain fans thoroughly.
“We are happy to announce Sourav Ganguly as a member of our team,” Pooja Jhunjhunwala said. “We are privileged to have such a player like him in our side. We wish to give quality entertainment to the fans through this league.”
The Masters Champions League, which has got a go ahead from the International Cricket Council, is slated to commence from January 28 next year, and will feature six teams.
All matches of the Masters Champions League (MCL) will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
