Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara played brilliant knocks to put India in cruise control against England. The duo never looked in trouble and scored at will. When the tea was taken, India were at 210/2.
Kohli and Pujara were closing on to their hundreds, and had stitched an unbeaten 188-run partnership before tea.

England conceded 118 runs in the post-lunch session, but failed to break the partnership. The pair ensured that the Indian team make best use of the batting conditions after winning the toss in Vishakhapatnam.
