Royal Challengers Bangalore have roped-in India Test opener KL Rahul, alongwith Parveez Rasool, for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
Rahul was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad from the last two seasons, and played as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the Deccan-based team.
This will be Rahul’s second stint with the Bangalore-based team, as he was also part of the RCB side in the 2013 season, before moving to Hyderabad.
“Given his multiple skills, KL Rahul has a lot to offer RCB in terms of batting and wicket keeping,” team owner, Vijay Mallya said. “It’s a good feeling to get a prominent local Karnataka boy back home and in the RCB fold again.”
