It rained for a good couple of hours before the scheduled start of the opening ceremony of IPL 2015. But that did not dampen the hopes of the patient crowd that had gathered at the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata.
Delayed nevertheless, the stadium got bustling as cricket stars and the who’s who from the film fraternity took centre-stage for the grand opening celebration to kick-start the eighth edition of the IPL.
