The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named Cheteshwar Pujara captain of the India A squad for the upcoming triangular series against Australia A and South Africa A. This home series, starting July 19, will also be the first assignment for Rahul Dravid as a coach.
Umesh Yadav, meanwhile, will play in the India A squad after been dropped from the squad going to Zimbabwe, while Varun Aaron is also in the 15-member team.
India A Squad: KL Rahul, Abhinav Mukund, Cheteshwar Pujara (c), Karun Nair, Shreyas Iyer, Naman Ojha, Vijay Shankar, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Shardul Thakur, Varun Aaron, Abhimanyu Mithun, Umesh Yadav, Shreyas Gopal and B Aparajith.
