Bangladesh ODI Squad: Tigers name strong squad for India series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a strong 23-member preliminary squad for a one-off Test and three-match ODI series against India, starting June 10. Mirpur will host three ODIs on June 18, 21 and 24, while the Test match will be organised in Fatullah.

Bangladesh opener Anamul Haque, who got injured in the World Cup and missed the Pakistan series, has been included in the squad. Pacer Shafiul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman, who made his debut against Pakistan in a T20, is also named in the squad.

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce the squad for the Bangladesh tour on Wednesday, May 20.

“All-India Senior Selection Committee will meet at the Cricket Centre, Mumbai, at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, 20 May 2015, to pick the Indian teams for the Test match and ODI series against Bangladesh, in June 2015,” a BCCI media release stated.

Bangladesh ODI squad: Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Soumya Sarkar, Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury, Liton Kumar Das, Nasir Hossain, Anamul Haque, Sabbir Rahman, Taijul Islam, Arafat Sunny, Zubair Hossain, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Taskin Ahmed, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Abul Hassan, Mohammed Sahid, Shafiul Islam and Rony Talukdar.
