Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has predicted the semifinalist teams for the forthcoming World Cup 2015 in Australia-New Zealand and also insisted that Team India has a good chance of retaining the cup in the tournament, starting February 14.

Tendulkar during the launch of his autobiography – Playing It My Way – said that Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men have a good chance of winning back-to-back titles. The master blaster also insisted that spinners will play a crucial role owing to big grounds in Australia.

“I feel India can surprise a lot of people and I also believe the spinners will come into play,” Tendulkar insisted. “People talk about the pitches for fast bowlers but because of the size of the grounds, I think spinners could be important.”

The batting legend said that hosts Australia and New Zealand, along with South Africa and India have a good chance of reaching the semis. He, however, expressed doubts overs England’s ability to reach the last-four of the mega event.

“I think Australia, South Africa, New Zealand are dark horses, and India – these four should be my semi-finalists,” Tendulkar said. “Anything is possible in this sport but going on current form I don’t think England will be that competitive.”
