Former Indian player Sridharan Sriram will join the Australian Cricket Team for their upcoming Test tour. Sriram will join as a spin consultant for the four-match Test series. Australia will come in February for the Test series.
Earlier, Sriram has worked for the Australian team as a consultant. He worked with the Aussies during last year’s World T20, and also toured with the Kangaroos to Sri Lanka.

“As always, I consider it a great honour to be given the opportunity to work with the Australian men’s team once again,” Sriram said. “I really look forward to adding value and contributing to a winning cause.”
“India is regarded as one of the toughest places to tour as a Test playing nation,” he added. “I am looking forward to the challenge.”

Meanwhile, former England spinner Monty Panesar will be working with the Australian team before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He is currently playing grade cricket in Sydney for Campbelltown.
Panesar has a good record against the Indian team. He claimed 17 wickets in England’s 2012 Test series, which the visitors won 2-1. Panesar will be guiding Aussie bowlers how to be effective in sub-continent conditions.
