MS Dhoni’s Fan Following is Beyond Boundaries!

He is from Ranchi, captained the Chennai Super Kings very successfully in the past and is now representing the Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL 2016, but India’s MS Dhoni’s fan following is beyond boundaries.

Be it Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata or any other corner of the country or outside this country, there aren’t many cricketers as popular as Dhoni. So much so that his home state Uttarakhand has already switched loyalties, from Chennai to Pune, because of Dhoni.

Not just because he is the Indian captain, Dhoni is popular worldwide because of the way he plays his game, the way he leads, the way he brings the best out of his resources.

The way he fights till the last ball and the way he runs between the wickets. Most importantly, not many know how to win games like Dhoni.

Last year, he almost won the tournament for the CSK, but had to be contented with the runners’ up trophy. This year too, he is back with plenty of hope and in the first match of this year’s event, Dhoni’s team is back as a top contender.

What a line up he has! Fat du Plessis, Keven Pietersen, Steven Smith, Ajinkya Rahane and more of this fold. More than the big names, it’s Dhoni’s presence which makes things big for any team he plays for.

Dhoni’s current team may not possess the all-rounder skills of the CSK team, but he has plenty of specialists.

Besides the batting prowess of the team, even the bowling looks very very impressive. Starting from R Ashwin, Ishant Sharma and veteran RP Singh, they make the perfect foil.

During the opening game of the IPL against defending champions, Mumbai Indians, the Pune bowling attack showed promise. They may face a few defeats here and there, but this side has the potential.
