The Indian team elected to bat first in the series-decider at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. It was a strange decision from the Indian captain MS Dhoni, who won yet another toss in the five-match ODI series.
India decided to make a couple of changes in the squad. Jasprit Bumrah and Jayant Yadav replaced Dhawal Kulkarni and Hardik Pandya for the last one-dayer. The series is locked at two games apiece.

Yadav made his India debut in the match, while Bumrah recoved from a niggle he sustained before the 4th ODI.
“It looks like a good surface, we’ve played IPL over here, and then it slowed down a bit,” Dhoni said.
“A bit of swing because of the humidity,” he added. “It’s a decider, makes it more interesting and it will give plenty of experience to the youngsters. As a batting unit, we have not played up to potential.”
