KL Rahul again played a gritty innings for Karnataka, but his valiant effort went in vain as Jharkhand registered an easy victory in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Batting first, Jharkhand posted 216 on the board, and in reply Karnataka could only manage to score 169, falling 47 runs short of the required total.
KL Rahul made a gritty 84-ball 42, but he never got support from other batsmen, as his team eventually ended up putting an under-par total on the board.
Jharkhand spinners, Shahbaz Nadeem and Sonu Kumar Singh, took three wickets each, and ripped through Karnataka batting, as none of their batsmen could manage to get going.
