India vs South Africa: MS Dhoni-led Team India Begins Preparatory Camp For South Africa

Team India has started a seven-day preparation camp in Bangalore, in a bid to prepare for the forthcoming South Africa series, starting October 2 with a three-match T20 series.

India are slated to play three T20s, five one-dayers and four Test matches against South Africa, and the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has announced squad for the T20 series and first three ODIs.

The preparatory camp in Bangalore started on Monday, with 32 players, including S Arvind and Gurkeerat Singh Mann, who were not in the initial 30 member list announced by the BCCI earlier.

India limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay are also part of the bunch of players preparing for the series.

On Monday, the Indian players focused mainly on improving skills and fitness, as they are to play a two-month long series against South Africa.

India Squad for T20s: MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, Ambati Rayudu, Stuart Binny, R Ashwin, Axar Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma, Amit Mishra and S Aravind.

India Squad for ODIs: MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, R Ashwin, Axar Patel, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Amit Mishra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav.
