India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has taken bulk of wickets for the Indian Cricket Team. He is also the fastest bowler to grab a little over 250 wickets from 44 Tests.
But the other Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja did a phenomenal job for his captain Virat Kohli. Without getting carried away by Ashwin’s wicket-taking spree, Jadeja kept bowling to his strength.
Most importantly, he kept delivering plenty of maiden overs in the Test series against England. Much to the delight of the Indian fans, bowling a dot ball is a great virtue and Jadeja took care of it like his own.
If any bowler got hit in the process of the match, Jadeja kept things tight from one end of the wicket, which is again a very tough job for any bowlers. In most of the innings that the Indians bowlers, Jadeja also emerged as the most economical bowler.

The left-armer showed signs of having a great season ahead in the Duleep Trophy itself. Earlier this year in Greater Noida, Jadeja was again one of the most economical bowlers in the premier domestic tournament.
The special bit about his bowling is that he targets one side of the wicket and bowls to his field. His Duleep Trophy captain Gautam Gambhir restored plenty of faith on Jadeja’s ability and was duly rewarded.
The Saurashtra bowler emerged as one of the top bowlers in the competition. More than three months after that tournament, Jadeja’s form hasn’t dipped. He still continues to rule the roost with some immaculate line and length.
The Day 1 of the fifth Test in Chennai against England was again one such occasion when Jadeja did what he has been doing all this while. And, that to bowl wicket-to-wicket without bothering much about the end result.
He was again one of the most economical bowler in the line-up.
