The Indian team has got the grip of the one-off Test with Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay. On a green, but slow Hyderabad pitch, the Indian team lost opener KL Rahul in the first over itself.
Taskin Ahmed castled Rahul (2) cheaply, but Vijay and Pujara looked strong. They negotiated the new-ball threat, and then stitched an unbeaten 84-run partnership, when the lunch was taken on the opening day.

“Great moment for Bangladesh cricket,” Mushfiqur Rahim said., “Test cricket is all about keeping the momentum for five days, you can’t really play good cricket for three days and give it up. The wicket looks pretty good.”
“We would have batted first too,” he added. “Two quicks and three spinners with Shakib, seven batsmen.”
