Faf du Plessis stunning fielding efforts against Australia [VIDEO + PHOTOS]

Faf du Plessis is one of the best fielders in the South African side and he proved it yet again in the third ODI against Australia by displaying a couple of stunning fielding pieces at the Manuka Oval.

In the final over of the Australian innings, Steve Smith hit a lusty blow off Josh Hazlewood and the ball looked to be sailing for a six over long-on, when du Plessis, leaping backward, deflected the ball back into the field.

Smith wasn’t dismissed but du Plessis’ acrobatic effort on the boundary line saved a certain boundary. The South African again lit up the stadium, two balls later, by taking a screamer.

The 30-year-old Proteas, sprinting from long-on, took a one-handed catch, off a no-ball. It could have been one of the greatest catches, if the delivery was legitimate.
