The Sunrisers Hyderabad may have only 12 points from 11 matches, but they are still in the contention to be in the IPL play-offs, if they manage to do well in next three games.

With the Kings XI Punjab being their next opponent, David Warner and team will be hoping to enhance their league standing, and clearly, they aren’t going to give up without a fight.

In their previous match, the Kings tried their best to spoil Kolkata Knight Riders’ party by putting up a very competitive score. But KKR were smart enough to win a close game.

Even the Sunrisers will be hoping to do the same against the Kings, who don’t fear much about losing a match. They want to play every game from here for pride. There is no doubted that Kings are a much better side than the way they have performed this year.

They say that luck is a very important factor in T20, which eluded the Kings at the very start of the competition. Every team works hard, but only a handful of them get success.

Similarly when the Sunrisers joined the IPL bandwagon and played their first season two years ago, no one expected them to be in the play-offs. Still, they did. It was a combination of hard world and luck that helped the Sunrisers immensely.

It’s something the Kings could have boasted last year when they played the IPL final. But in the interim period, a lot has changed. The Kings are no more a contenders. The Sunrisers are the ones who will have to advance and this match against the Kings is just another step towards bigger goals.
