Time is running out for the Mumbai Indians. They have lost first three matches of their IPL campaign, but when they take on the strong Chennai Super Kings on their home turf, their best choice will be to beat their opponent. It’s actually easier said than done, because CSK is simply the best team in the competition.

As reported by Drcricket7 earlier, the Mumbai team depends heavily on their captain Rohit Sharma all the time. After scoring in nineties in the opening match of the IPL at his favourite venue the Eden Gardens, the Mumbai batsmen was out for a duck twice in next two matches. With their regular opener Aaron Finch out of the IPL with a damaged hamstring, there is no sigh of relief.

Then, this team also has a problem of not sticking to the playing XI after losing one or two matches in a row. It will be wrong to say that Mumbai is the only team, wherein chopping and changing happens. It’s happens in every IPL team, but the Mumbai Indians do it quite frequently. When you team is not doing well, the best way to bring back confidence into the team is to back your players and ensure that the morale of the side is upbeat.

The biggest reason behind a successful IPL team is how well the players are taken care of. As it is the format of the game is such that the best side doesn’t cross the finishing line all the time. So, the real strength of a side in the long run depends on the unity of the team.

To counter CSK, what the Mumbai team needs is a collective effort from every member of the team, rather than depending on individual performances. Whether or not Mumbai can come out guns blazing will only be known on Friday evening, but the odds are heavily loaded in favour of CSK winning yet another match.
