With back-to-back wins, India would be looking to seal the final berth of the Asia Cup when they take on Sri Lanka on Tuesday evening.
Whether it will be a repeat show of the recently held bilateral series, where MS Dhoni and his men blanked Sri Lanka, is a tough to predict. But going by the kind of form India are in, it’s quite a tough game for Sri Lanka.
To make matter worse, Sri Lanka lost to Bangladesh on Sunday night and are in tremendous pressure to save their reputation. To stay alive in the completion, they will have to beat big teams like India and Pakistan.
And as far as India are concerned, they are in for the time of their lives. Everything this team is attempting to do is falling in place. Some of the pundits of the game may be apprehensive about the team is peaking early.
The Indian cricketers, however, are not worried about the law of average. They are taking one match at a time. Right now, the Indian team is not even thinking much about the final of the Asia Cup.
Their mission is to book the final place for sure, but most importantly, they want to continue their good work, which is the most important part.
