The Indian team has received an injury scare, as Yuvraj Singh missed a practice session on Saturday. According to reports, he is suffering from an illness. It is unknown whether is available for the practice match or not.

India will be playing its first of the two practice matches tomorrow against New Zealand. The practice games will provide will give India a chance of getting the right combination before their opening Group B game.

According to reports, the Indian team management believes that Yuvraj might recover in a day’s time. However, his participation the first practice fixture at the Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday is not clear.

Yuvraj, alongwith MS Dhoni, will be a vital cog in India’s Champions Trophy defence. The Indians will start their championship defence in the high-octane clash against archrivals Pakistan on June 4.
