Young Jharkhand opener Virat Singh gave a stunning start to Jharkhand in the Zonal T20 match against Tripura. After Tripura won the toss and elected to field first, the Jharkhand openers Virat Singh and Ishan Kishan added 61 runs for the opening partnership in just 5.2 overs thus giving their team a blazing start. Virat Singh scored an impressive 43 runs off just 31 balls to help his team achieve a good run rate in the first 10 overs. Virat Singh was the top scorer as Jharkhand managed to score 163 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. It was indeed a match-winning performance as Tripura fell short of the target by 24 runs.

Uncapped Indian players will play a huge role in this IPL Auction. Teams will be eyeing out to buy best Indian talents this season. Virat Singh being an opening batsman will be a great asset to any side this season. We all knew what happened last season with RPSG – The uncapped player Rahul Tripathi scored plenty of runs as an opener. Who knows, Virat Singh might be the next in this IPL season.
