England decided to field an unchanged squad, after winning the toss and electing to bowl first in the final of the tri-series against Australia at the WACA, Perth.
Australia, meanwhile, made a couple of changes in the squad as speedster Mitchell Johnson and opener David Warner are back into the playing XI.
The hosts picked four seamers, Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and James Faulkner, while spinner Xavier Doherty failed to make the cut.
